a heart worth having:
“The mark of a wild heart is living out the paradox of love in our lives. It’s the ability to be tough & tender, excited & scared, brave & afraid—all in the same moment. It’s showing up in our vulnerability & our courage, being both fierce & kind.” -Brown
“Lament invites us to turn our gaze from the rubble of life to the Redeemer of every hurt. It calls us to turn toward promise while still in pain.” -@MarkVroegop Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy
Tier 1 instruction is for ALL learners.
When finding more & more learners in need of services in Tiers 2 & 3, the FIRST thing to do is go back & look at Tier 1.
Don't buy a program, add an intervention, or spend money.
Do go & make sure Tier 1 is what it should be.
That's it
Teachers, want to take something off your plate? Put HW in the trash. Especially for elementary, let students go home, run, play, and enjoy being a child. And read a little after playing. Then they come to school recharged instead of stressed out and you will too!
In all my years of pastoring, I have learned this lesson: a person’s spiritual maturity is not truly visible until they DON’T get their way. Then you see the person.

This is a potent 3 step daily:
1 -3min cold shower or plunge immediately after waking up (AWA).
5-30min of viewing sunlight ASAPAWA
(There is always *some* sun, folks, even if through cloud cover).
Resistance train, or endurance work or sprints, 6 days/week. (Notice “or”).
