My most serious relationship started because one day a vegan nepo baby I'd been dating called and said "I don't think it's going to work." As retribution I went to a pork bbq party in Williamsburg that eve. There I met a guy who turned out to be my literal neighbor on the same street in Greenpoint. We became friends, and months later he invited me on a trip, where I met his friend, and months after that I started dating his friend. btw I only lived on that street because a friend had walked me down it while I was visiting NYC and I was struck by the tree canopy.

So while we were dating I often walked around feeling the absurdity of it all. What if I hadn't gone to that pork bbq (I skipped plenty of the parties those guys hosted). What if I'd never seen the tree canopy that would become my home (being neighbors did so much for the pace and ease of that friendship). What if the vegan nepo baby had called to ask me on another date instead.

And even though that didn't work and is all in the past, I still do my best to bop around knowing anything can become magical as the storyline progresses 💞

I see a ton of posts from people who (like me) dislike the style of modern iPhone photos. So last year I started going down a rabbit hole.
