Today marks a new chapter for robotics and automotive AI, and the beginning of Mobileye 3.0 as we announce entering into an agreement for the acquisition of @MenteeBot, an AI-first humanoid robotics company.
This transaction would combine Mobileye’s advanced AI technology and global production expertise with Mentee’s breakthrough humanoid platform and deep AI talent, creating a global leader in physical AI in both autonomous driving and humanoid robotics.
This marks a decisive step toward physical artificial intelligence: systems designed to understand context, infer intent, and act safely and effectively in the physical world.

We are thrilled to share that Mentee has signed an agreement to be acquired by @Mobileye.
Together, we will work to unlock the next era of Physical AI.

In response to questions from our previous tweet, we are sharing a behind-the-scenes view of the same task.
This video shows the MenteeBot’s head camera view in the top-left, along with its “thoughts” and decision-making output in the bottom-left, offering a direct view of the perception and planning that drive the box-handling task performed by two MenteeBots.

No tele-op. No cuts. Just 18 minutes of two @MenteeBot bots being… honestly kind of boring.
Sim2Real + practical design = robots that work so well it's almost disappointing.

Israel-based Mentee Robotics has demonstrated a logistics workflow: two MenteeBot V3 humanoids work autonomously to pick and place totes.
A Modular Agent System is preferred because it favors real-world robustness and lower compute needs over the End-to-End VLA model. Its architecture is composed of three components:
- LLM Planner: Converts instructions into executable Robotic API Language code for reliable task decomposition and error handling.
- Perception Stack: Uses pre-trained models (NeRF/3DGS, distilled vision) for scene understanding and navigation.
- Control Policies: Reinforcement Learning (RL) models, trained at scale via Sim2Real, generate motor commands, enabling high-accuracy mobile manipulation.
Crucially, the robot learns new tasks from a single demonstration in hours. Object tracking uses 3D geometry (STL/URDF) tracked in the video to define the RL reward function.
Training is optimized using 'Automatic Curriculum Learning', which autonomously adjusts task difficulty based on robot performance, eliminating manual engineering. All computation runs onboard.
Israeli startup Mentee Robotics just showcased progress on MenteeBots V3:
Two humanoid robots worked 18 minutes fully autonomously ,zero teleop, moving 32 boxes from 8 stacks to 4 rolling racks in a live warehouse setup.
Humanoids are quietly filling the “last gap” in warehouse automation:the picking, lifting, restacking, and human-shaped workstation tasks that AMRs and conveyors still can’t handle.
If your warehouse relies on repetitive manual stations, would you deploy humanoid robots?
Israeli startup Mentee Robotics just dropped a video showcasing huge progress with its MenteeBots V3 humanoids! The V3 pair executed a demanding logistics workflow, showcasing stable manipulation and dexterity.
Two V3 bots worked for 18 minutes in a live warehouse setup, successfully moving 32 boxes from 8 stacks to 4 rolling racks.
According to Mentee Robotics, the entire complex task was 100% autonomous, with zero human teleoperation, showcasing reliable decision-making and stable manipulation. 🤖
Our latest demo shows two V3 MenteeBots completing an autonomous logistics workflow with accurate manipulation, stable movement, and adaptive decision making.

I’m grateful to @TIME magazine for the honor of being listed on the 100 influential people in AI. There is much to be excited about with the ongoing development of AI. I see two main thrusts going forward - Physical AI where AI is embodied on moving platforms in the real world. This includes Autonomous Vehicles through my brainchild @Mobileye and humanoid robotics through the 3-year-old startup @MenteeBot I cofounded with Prof. @shai_s_shwartz and Prof. Lior Wolf. I strongly believe that by the middle of the next decade, humanoid robots will be a meaningful part of society.
The second thrust is to have AI focus on the innovation bottlenecks of society. The first and foremost bottleneck is experts focusing on problem-solving and discovery in STEM-related fields. True experts are not spread uniformly within society. They coalesce in certain places and are completely absent in others. And there are a few of them. If we can have access to real experts at scale, that could be transformative to humanity.
That is where AAI Technologies a young startup co-founded with Prof. Shai Shalev Shwartz and four super talented former Phd students, with the goal of building the next phase of AI, which can demonstrate deep reasoning during problem solving. By deep reasoning I mean that a solution to a problem contains multiple steps - many of them do not follow deterministically from previous steps and instead contain uncertainty. Uncertainty is translated to the need to open a search in the space of ideas and backtrack to the appropriate relevant reasoning step when a line of thought gets stuck. Building this right will introduce a leap in the progress of AI and its impact on society.
