லஞ்சம், ஊழல், சொத்துக் குவிப்பு, கனிம வளக் கொள்ளை, பெண்கள் குழந்தைகள் மீதான பாலியல் கொடுமைகள்; திமுக கொடுத்த சில தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகள் நிறைவேற்றப்படாததும், பல வாக்குறுதிகள் காலம் கடந்து நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டதும் உள்ளிட்ட பிரச்சனை களைத்தான் சமூக வலைதளங்களின் மூலம் மக்களிடம் (TVK) முன்வைத்தனர்.

நேபாளம், இலங்கை போன்ற அண்டை நாடுகளிலேயே இளை ஞர்களின் பேராவேசத்தைக் கண்டோம். எனவே, இங்கு மட்டும் மாற்றமே கூடாது என்பது சரியா?

திமுக அல்லது அதிமுக-வை தேர்ந்தெடுப்பது மட்டும்தான் மக்களுக்கு இருந்த வாய்ப்பு என்று கடந்த 50 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக, தமிழ்நாட்டில் ‘இரு துருவ ஆட்சி’ என்று நிலவிய நிலைக்கு இந்த தேர்தலில் பின்னடைவு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது என்பது முக்கிய திருப்புமுனையாகும்.//

Savukku Shankar has filed a writ petition in the #MadrasHighCourt seeking a CBI probe against Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption A. Arun, IPS in the light of the adverse findings and observations made by the court against him on May 29, 2026. He says, a Division Bench of Justices G.R. Swaminathan and V. Lakshminarayanan had found the officer to have used his preventive detention power "for extraneous reasons" during his stint as Greater Chennai Commissioner of Police and such a finding by the court cannot be taken lightly. He also complains that Tamil Nadu govt had not taken any action against Mr. Arun so far despite a representation given by him to the Vigilance Commissioner on June 2, 2026 @THChennai

EPS can deny it, deflect it, and shout from the rooftops, but the facts remain unchanged.

@EPSTamilNadu was desperate to become Chief Minister with DMK’s support, as Udhayanidhi was reportedly unwilling to see Vijay occupy the CM’s chair.

While CPI was agreeable to the proposal, it was CPM that refused to go along. Several senior AIADMK leaders were stunned by the move. When objections were raised, EPS reportedly justified it by saying, “DMK is only extending outside support. The government will still be AIADMK’s.”

When that plan failed, the alternative proposed by @SPVelumanicbe was to make Thiruma Chief Minister.

Driven by his thirst for power, EPS refused to back Thiruma despite the proposal having broad support across parties. Udhayanidhi, on the other hand, was said to be enthusiastic about the idea.

What is even more disturbing is that the remarks made by EPS against Thiruma were so casteist and offensive that they are unfit for publication. These remarks were made in the presence of 46 AIADMK MLAs.
