@PMOIndia@narendramodi It will provide a strong base to India’s foreign exchange position and will even takeaway perquisite for Indians to keep USD abroad.
@PMOIndia@narendramodi Sir it is high time India negotiates a pegged exchange rate of USD against INR. This may impact export revenues to certain extent but India still being net importer - it will bring lot of certainty in cost structure for manufacturing base in India. Contd…2
@MumbaichaDon This is how for first time ruling government will understand how they pick bits and pieces of opposition leaders and create stories and stories out of it. This time it worked reverse way
Shri Ratan Tata Ji was a visionary business leader, a compassionate soul and an extraordinary human being. He provided stable leadership to one of India’s oldest and most prestigious business houses. At the same time, his contribution went far beyond the boardroom. He endeared himself to several people thanks to his humility, kindness and an unwavering commitment to making our society better.
My mind is filled with countless interactions with Shri Ratan Tata Ji. I would meet him frequently in Gujarat when I was the CM. We would exchange views on diverse issues. I found his perspectives very enriching. These interactions continued when I came to Delhi. Extremely pained by his passing away. My thoughts are with his family, friends and admirers in this sad hour. Om Shanti.
@anjanaomkashyap Just heard you saying that Mumbai’s voting rate is low and reason for that is urban voters don’t come to vote. But the fact is - at polling booth there is mismanagement resulting in slow rate of voting. As reporters get facts correct before blaming voters
@Dev_Fadnavis Why such audits are announced only after an accident? Is it not government’s primary job to ensure basic criteria for permitting such structures?
IMPORTANT, Especially for Parents:
The case of Shahbaz is profoundly distressing. The child was bitten by a neighbor's dog a month ago but kept it a secret. He applied haldi to the wound, and within a few weeks, he began exhibiting symptoms of rabies, including a fear of water and light. Sadly, he succumbed to the illness in his parents' arms. Imagine the agony of parents helplessly watching their child go through this.
Rabies has no cure. No patient recovers. It has a 100% mortality rate. That's why you should do everything you can to prevent dog bites, especially when it comes to children. Here's what you can do:
1. Believe that it can happen to you and your family. Complacency often arises from ignorance.
2. Raise the issue with pet owners during your society meetings. Discuss it openly. Ensure that every pet is vaccinated. Mere assurance that the pet is vaccinated is not enough. In Shahbaz's case, neighbors also claimed that the pet was vaccinated. Make sure a copy of the pet's vaccination certificate is submitted with the society.
3. Segregate kids and pets in play areas, both by time and by space.
4. Advocate for strict leash laws in common areas.
5. Educate your kids. Inform them about the risks and emphasize that they shouldn't hide any contact with dogs from you.
6. If there are stray dogs in your colony, ensure that pet lovers in your society take responsibility for their vaccination and other needs.
7. If there is a problematic dog in or around your area, follow local procedures for addressing the issue. Don't fear the NGOs, dog lovers, etc. Always voice your concerns. Nothing is more important than the lives of your children.
8. Despite your best efforts, if a dog bite occurs, always consult a doctor in person, even if it's just a lick or minor scratch, even if the dog is confirmed vaccinated. One visit is a must. This applies to cat or monkey bites as well.
@sardesairajdeep@MumbaiPolice Happy realisation. It is everyday story. VIP/VVIP movement impact on traffic and common man has been there. Since you got impacted you felt to write. Else who cares!!
