HS Baseball Players ⚾️
BELIEVE you're the best player on the field at all times.. don't be cocky but always be confident in your abilities ‼️
It's impossible to be successful at baseball when you're not confident.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF 💯
HIP MOBILITY - With emphasis on the adductors and working in the frontal plane. The adductor muscle group is one of the more overlooked areas when it comes to the hips.
- Elevated Lateral Groin Drift
- Dynamic Groin Drifts
- Adductor Rock Backs
- Lateral Squats with a plate
Get your front foot down, then throw.
This drill allows you to feel what I talk about so often.
Being patient & bringing the house down at front foot strike. Sets up your delivery for success.
Protect The Ligament 🛡️
Your Flexor Carpi Ulnaris (FCU) is a forearm muscle that runs right along your UCL and acts like a natural brace during high-velocity throws
💪 A strong FCU helps to shield the ligament by doing a similar job of compressing and protecting the inside of the elbow.
That’s why it’s a good idea to add isometric holds to your routine
🎯 Isometrics enable us to take the slack out of the muscle and be more specific at directing force to the tendon
There are TONS of way to achieve this, but this specific example is a creative setup where you can let it eat
*A fatigued muscle acts like a weak muscles, so don’t blow it out the day before you pitch

Surround yourself with people that expect and demand your best, on and off the field.
If people don't expect a lot from you, you're around the wrong people.
Rotation is rotation.
The only difference in baseball is that we’re on a slope & our trunk gets out over our pelvis through ball release.
Don’t be afraid to do non-baseball activities to improve. Especially if you’ve been plateauing for awhile. You’ll be amazed at how the body correlates movement.
For example, many of the pro guys I have worked with say when their driver swing is dialed, so is their pitching delivery.
🔥 THE 6-STEP FORMULA TO FIX SHOULDER IMPINGEMENT
⚾️ Subacromial Impingement occurs when either the Supraspinatus Tendon or Bursa Sac get pinched in the Subacromial Space
WHY DOES SCAP UPWARD ROTATION HELP THIS?
✅ The Acromion (Part of the Scap) is the “Roof” of the Subacromial Space. When the Scap is more downwardly rotated, the roof lowers and the space is decreased which increases the chances for pinching. In contrast, Upward Rotation raises the roof and increases the amount of space
🔥 The simplest way to accomplish this is to lengthen the downward rotators you identify as tight
FOLLOWED BY SPECIFIC STRENGTHENING OF THE UPWARD ROTATORS
Downward Rotators:
✅ Rhomboids
✅ Lat
✅ Levator Scapula
Upward Rotators:
✅ Serratus Anterior
✅ Low/Mid Trap
✅ Upper Trap
Some other components to dive into for a Subacromial Impingement would be:
⚾️ Scapular Posterior Tilt: A anterior tipped Scap lowers the roof on the front of the SA Space. T Spine and Rib interventions may be key here
⚾️ Rotator Cuff Strength: The Cuff muscles provide and compressive and inferior net force which prevents the humeral head from drifting up and decreasing the space from the bottom side
⚾️ Deltoid Dominance: In cases where the Deltoids are overactive to make up for a weak rotator cuff, the deltoid is constantly providing and upward force to the humeral head decreasing the SA Space
⚾️ Activity Modification: There may be an activity that is able to be modified oftentimes as simple as finding out the athlete is sleeping with their arm under their head in a flexion/IR position which is literally the testing position for Subacromial Impingement. No wonder it’s flared up day after day
🚨Two women from the 6 alleged victims in the case against Andrew Tate are claiming the Tates were "like family" to them and the allegations are "untrue" and "unfair", and that the case is "built on lies"
