While doing genetic lineage tracing we realized massive contribution of Osr1+ mesenchymal cells to nascent lymph nodes, which was a classic ��hm… that’s funny” moment.

New study from our lab: We show that Osr1 is a key transcriptional regulator of FAPs during muscle regeneration. Osr1 is required to sustain pro-regenerative FAP function, loss of Osr1 leads to a detrimental pro-fibrotic state in FAPs actively suppressing regenerative myogenesis
