The moment a research idea begins its transformation into intellectual property is less a single event than a long arc of infrastructure.

Molecule is built around that entire journey, from a researcher's first onchain record of an idea, through datarooms, funding mechanisms, agentic tooling, real-world asset frameworks, community, and eventually IP licensing and spinout. We exist to serve every stage of that process.

We've updated our brand to reflect something we've long understood: science and intellectual property aren't separate territories. They exist on a continuum, fluid and inseparable, held together by technical rigour.

Vision directed by @SiMaclennan, who created the first Molecule logo in 2018.

excited to finally announce the next move in the quest for immortality: HydraDAO (@daohydra)

years ago it became clear to me that we would need engineering approaches to the problem of death, and alongside cryopreservation, replacement is one of those approaches

HydraDAO will fund, incubate, and advance moonshot research in this field, enabling biological replacement parts for humans including whole-body replacement

two years ago we founded @cryodao which is continuing to lead the way in moonshot funding of cryopreservation research

cryopreservation enables replacement—together, these two organizations will be the reason we have organs and tissues (...and bodies!) on demand for anyone who needs them

the longevity field is riddled with low-impact projects that will not move the needle on maximum lifespan extension—HydraDAO exists to push us far beyond what we thought was possible in our lifetimes
