With the greatest of respect, no human is a cockroach. The phrase in the Preamble, -"assuring the dignity of the individual" is violated by such court conversation, that dehumanises a person. After Japan’s devastation in the Second World War, its industrial rebuilding accelerated in the 1950s and 1960s.

A rebuilding strategy was the adoption of modern quality-control methods. Japanese institutions invited American quality experts such as W. Edwards Deming and Joseph M. Juran to train Japanese executives, engineers, and managers.

Deming gave influential lectures in Japan in 1950, especially on statistical quality control, while Juran lectured Japanese executives and middle managers in 1954 on quality management.

The Japanese were receptive, open-minded and totally ready to change their ways. So these new ideas became important foundations of Japan’s quality movement, and the results were eventually spectacular in sectors such as automobiles, electronics, and precision manufacturing. Japanese exports swamped world markets soon!

The Japanese did not allow centuries of conventional Japanese wisdom to come in the way of a new resurgence in the modern world. That's how truly mature societies work. Very few societies have this courage.

a3 + 2a = 14
Similarly
b3 + 2b = -14

So looks like a = -b or a+b = 0
Alpha + Beta = (a+1)+(b+1) = 2
