If the alleged misconduct by CSA was recording the incident and uploading it on social media, then a serious question must be asked:
Had the video never surfaced, would the Branch Manager alone have been blamed while the actual circumstances remained hidden ?
Suspending the Customer Service Associate for exposing what happened sends a troubling message. Misconduct, if any, should be examined fairly, but action against the CSA merely because the incident became public raises concerns about accountability and transparency.
The administration should distinguish between investigating the underlying incident and penalizing the person who brought it to light.
The suspension of the CSA deserves immediate review and should be revoked if it is based solely on recording and sharing the incident.
Transparency should not become a punishable offence while the real issues go unaddressed.

The target system has collapsed the Banks.
And trust me,there is so much pressure on banking employees that is not required at all.
And here I would say,BM is not in 100% of fault, there is RM above him & GM above them.
Manager banne ka bhoot sawar tha to ban gya bhaai, I think he feels jealous of the working timings of Clerks.
Next BPS me @ChVenkatachalam or kabar khod dega Clerks ki to ese manager noch khaayege clerks ko
The viral video from Karnataka Grameena Bank is deeply disturbing. No employee should ever be locked inside the workplace or prevented from leaving after office hours.
Those responsible must be placed under immediate suspension pending inquiry, and if the allegations are substantiated, strict disciplinary action should follow. Such conduct has no place in a professional banking institution.
A few uncomfortable truths:
• If a Branch Manager cannot get the required work completed by the CSA within office hours, it reflects a failure of planning and leadership.
• Employees willingly support genuine business needs when they are treated with dignity, respect, and trust, not intimidation.
• Targets come with leadership. If you chose a promotion, managing business, manpower, customer service, and deadlines is your responsibility. That responsibility cannot be shifted onto subordinates by forcing them to stay back.

Will bank take action for illegal confiscation of the employee by manager?
What even happened to the Banking Industry?
10 Hour work shift is now normal. Leave before 8 and you are judged
Working on weekends is normal. Refuse once and be prepared for a transfer.
Ask for leave and, haha.. you know it.
Meanwhile Union Leaders are no where to be seen.
One of the most satisfying moments of my banking career. ❤️
Some time ago, a rural customer visited our branch. He wasn't educated and initially refused to enrol in PMJJBY.
But people in rural areas place immense trust in bank employees. After I patiently explained the scheme to him, he finally agreed.
₹436 was debited as premium.
Unfortunately, he later passed away. 💔
His wife came to our branch only for a normal death claim settlement. She had no idea that her husband had enrolled in PMJJBY.
His account had barely ₹650 — and even that was a significant amount for the family.
She was uneducated, couldn't sign, knew nothing about documentation, and didn't even know how to obtain a death certificate. She had lost her husband and had two children to take care of.
We immediately started helping her. I explained the entire process, sent our sub-staff with her for assistance, completed the paperwork, and personally followed up on the claim.
Around 20 days later, ₹2,00,425 was credited to her account.
The happiness and relief on her face… I still can't explain it in words. ❤️
We couldn't bring her husband back.
But that ₹436 decision gave his family some financial support when they needed it the most.
That day, I genuinely felt proud that my job as a banker could make a difference in someone's life.
Sometimes, the greatest satisfaction comes from knowing that someone's life became a little better because of you. ❤️
