Their discussion explored the growing adoption of neural-symbolic AI, the limits of today's frontier models, the role of world models in general intelligence, and what cognitive science can contribute to the next generation of AI systems.
How does the scale of current AI infrastructure investment affect the economics of the AI industry, and what happens if AGI arrives on a different timeline than expected?
In a new analysis, our CEO, Dr. @bengoertzel, examines three possible trajectories for AI progress and the financial obligations created by today’s infrastructure buildout. His central argument is that a financial crisis could emerge across fast, moderate, and pessimistic AI scenarios, meaning that a future market correction would not necessarily tell us much about whether the underlying technology is progressing toward AGI.
The analysis then considers what changes if decentralized AGI succeeds. A global network using heterogeneous hardware and token-based funding would have a different capital structure from the debt-financed infrastructure being built by major technology companies, with no comparable refinancing gates and a capacity to absorb hardware released during a downturn.

In a new paper, CEO Dr. @bengoertzel presents fluid-dynamics-based neural networks and argues that they are relevant to AGI.
The central idea is to treat activation, attention, or cognitive resource as a conserved density transported by an incompressible velocity field. Rather than spreading credit by isotropic diffusion or routing it by unconstrained attention weights, an Incompressible-Fluid Network routes a fixed budget along goal-shaped streamlines.
The paper also includes a roadmap for extending this preliminary work toward AGI systems with fluid attention, cognitive Reynolds-number control, transweave transfer, and integration with symbolic and neural memory architectures.

• OmegaClaw Onboarding: Improve documentation, tutorials, educational resources, and the onboarding experience.
• Follow-up Projects: Continue and expand projects developed in previous community build cycles.
The first workshop, OmegaClaw Setup & Onboarding, will take place Thursday, August 13 at 6:00 PM UTC. The session will introduce OmegaClaw, walk participants through setting up their development environment, and cover the resources available throughout the sprint, including LLM credits for development.
