Perp DEXs usually have the same problem

The chart is onchain,
but the experience feels slow,
thin and a bit of a black box

@popdex_ is trying to fix that from the base layer

It runs on Morph Tachyon,
a chain built for trading,
with a fully onchain order book

You can see depth, spreads and price discovery for yourself, with self custody,
and the platform is aiming for a CEX like feel

What I notice most is the philosophy

PopDEX talks about returning value to the people who create it:

traders, liquidity providers, affiliates and communities
It’s less “farm points and hope” and more “trade and get something back”

MegaPop is a good example
A share of net trading fees goes into a weekly prize pool,
your eligible trading earns Pop Tickets,
and the draw is settled by a Bitcoin block hash every Monday
So the venue’s activity funds the rewards

I’d still like to see a clearer explanation of how trading turns into tickets
Everything else here points toward traders being treated as real contributors

Somewhere a Bitcoin miner finds a block and has no idea it just settled a @popdex_ draw

That’s the part of MegaPop I keep coming back to

The winning number isn’t chosen by the team,
a dashboard or a vote

It’s the last six digits of the first Bitcoin block hash at or after draw time

Nobody can touch it

My side of it is just trading on PopDEX,
a fully onchain order book where maker and taker activity both count

Pop Tickets get issued automatically as eligible activity builds up
Monday comes, tickets get checked against the Pop Hash, and winners claim USDT on the MegaPop page

I also like where the pot comes from:
40% of net protocol trading fees go into it,
so it’s funded by real trading activity
Whatever the draw doesn’t pay out rolls into the next one

The one thing I’d change is the ticket formula
It’s hidden on purpose to stop farming, which is fair, but it means I can’t tell how much trading earns a ticket
Even a rough range would help
