@RGAlpert@GeorgiaTechFB Our students have been incredible and gotten a RECORD number of @GeorgiaTechFB season tickets! It's only fair that we get them a RECORD amount of pizza! First 3,000 students at the game on Saturday get free pizza!
Can’t wait to see you on Saturday! #StingEm
Good news just reported by @BORUSG: enrollment in our public universities grew by 5.9% this year, bucking national trends and reaching a new record of 364,725 students. At 53,363 students, @GeorgiaTech is now the largest in the state (4th in FTE)
It was a family affair voting early in one of the birth places of civil rights, Atlanta, GA, today with my #firsttimevoter Gavin Duckett. I’m so proud of him for participating in a process that others before him paid for with their blood. #goodtrouble#JohnLewis
Freedom is not a state; it is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau where we can finally sit down and rest. Freedom is the continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.
Due to the projected impacted of the weather, Georgia Tech will operate under modified operations on Thursday, Sept. 26, and Friday, Sept. 27. Only critical operations will remain in person. The 500 Tech Parkway building (ASC/HR) will be closed.
@GovKemp@GeorgiaTechFB@GeorgiaStateFB It is always inspiring to see you & Mrs. Kemp at the 🏈 games, especially this one showing support for 2 state universities. Thank you for showing these talented students that they matter.
Kudos @apsupdate@BOEAPS for yrs of planning & 💰investment to bring food service workers back in-house w/ competitive pay & benefits. Thank you 4 committing to higher quality food & customer service for the most important ATLiens - our kids! @JoinTeamAPS@hr_nicoleL@GeorgiaFPSE
The @usedgov just updated the College Scorecard to help families choose the best school for them. Here's what you will find about @GeorgiaTech: low tuition, top graduation rate, top graduate salaries

My “baby” is getting old enough to start college visits! 😱 I enjoyed joining in on their activity by my office at @GeorgiaTechISyE which he understood, but I didn’t! 🤣 Thanks @DrewCharter for the summer bridge program for rising 9th graders. @Clark2College@rbeyah
@educator4ever36 @eduwonkette_jen I’ve had a great experience in two urban public school systems - Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA. 2 kids across 4 different neighborhood schools & 1 public charter. And no, as a single mom who was putting myself through college, I couldn’t afford to live in the top neighborhoods.
@IamKingWilliams @DrShepherd2013 @StumptownGA@heflinhollis Thank you for reposting - best summary of these topics I’ve seen in a long time + highlights our @universityofga@GTSciences experts. As a resident in the historic ATL community of Peoplestown that saw legacy residents displaced to create a flood basin, this is a big deal.
@StrikeDebt I don’t have feelings one way or the other about the overall issue, but we would have needed those police if water was out much longer - ppl in ATL start fighting & going crazy over scarce resources.
