Would you plan for something big without knowing your budget? 🤔 Neither would #pancreaticcancer researchers! Without an approved budget from Congress for this next fiscal year 2025, those conducting federally funded research are facing uncertainty and risk losing momentum. 🔬💜
As PanCAN advocates, it’s our job to urge Congress to pass that budget – because pancreatic cancer patients don’t have time to wait! Take action NOW at https://t.co/2xzlOjVUxF.
Pancreatic cancer researcher in the US? Your application for an annual seed grant from @skyresearch is due tomorrow: August 1, 2024!

Today marks 12 years since we lost an American icon, Sally Ride, to #pancreaticcancer. Sally made history as the first American woman in space when she blasted off aboard Challenger in 1983. 👩🚀🚀🌟
After leaving @NASA, Sally continued to be an advocate and role model for women in science. She received the highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, after she passed in 2012. 🏅
More than an astronaut, Sally was an inspiration to generations of women and a champion of science education for all students. Join us in remembering and honoring her today. 💜

A tweetorial on our study (https://t.co/OCqCRJEMdx). But, first a case: Young female w/ a 1.9 cm incidental pancreatic cyst. No concerning features, but KRAS, TP53 and SMAD4 mutations on molecular testing. Surgical resection: #IPMN w/ a small #PancreaticCancer. #Pathology#GIPath
How we feel after the great #GI24 session on the management of locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Lots of #positive data coming out of studies on KRAS-targeted therapies. @ASCO
Detroit’s @karmanoscancer is the first to offer electromagnetic liver cancer treatment in ‘24. The innovation has potential to be a #breakthrough in pancreatic cancer and is in clinical trials now. Such a great way to start the new year. Feeling like the future is #bright💜
2023 was a transitional year for Sky Foundation. After losing our founder, Sheila Sky Kasselman, we came together to honor Sheila’s #legacy of support and continue the fight against #pancreaticcancer.
