Is 20MPH really that fast?
I’m convinced more and more that our perception of what sounds fast often gets in the way of logically breaking down what fast really is
20MPH sounds fast. It is also a difference maker in team sports
It’ll get roughly a 4.9-5.0s 40yd dash
However, many colleges won’t offer a skill or big skill player who isn’t at a 4.7 or faster.
Meaning, the majority of football recruiting classes are likely capable of eclipsing 21-22MPH on a regular basis.
11.00s 100m requires ~23MPH. 11.00 to 10.90s MIGHT get you into your state final. It might also get you college attention for track. But… some recruiting standards won’t even let you walk on if you’re not 10.7 and under.
Meaning, to get an opportunity at the collegiate level as a male sprinter, you will need to be capable of ~23-24MPH+ or your track career is over at 17-19 years old.
All of this to illustrate — 20MPH is a nice round number that will help to separate from most teammates, local, and state competitors in team sports.
It’s a great goal to shoot for to improve your ability to make an impact for your team and earn a starting spot on varsity in a meaningful role.
It will probably get you onto your varsity track team and possibly onto some relays.
If you want to be recruited for team sport, 21MPH might be a better goal to shoot for along with 4.7 or faster.
If you want to sprint in college, a 20MPH ceiling simply doesn’t get the job done. Sub 11.00s opens the door at ~23MPH.
20MPH is RELATIVELY fast compared to most male HS peers… but it isn’t very fast in the grand scheme of varsity high performers.

Want a Winning Program?
Ask yourself, what does a “Losing Program” look like?
Make sure you don’t have these 7 Losing Attributes in your program.
1: Entitlement
Do your seniors feel entitled to play? Do your seniors feel entitled to lead? Losing programs have entitled players. Everything needs to be earned in sports. Playing time needs to be earned. Leadership needs to be earned. This is your Culture.
2: The Blame Game
Losing programs have a lot of blame to pass around. There is a lack of responsibility. There is finger-pointing as to why the team does not have success. Own it or suffer the consequences of losing.
3: No Discipline
Discipline is doing what has to be done, when it has to be done, and doing it this way all the time. Losing programs lack discipline. You can see it and how they act, how they play, and how they practice. It is sloppy.
4: Lacking Leadership
Losing programs lack leadership. Leadership from the coach. Leadership from players. Player lead teams win. One responsibility of the coach is to develop leaders for your team.
5: Complaining
Losing programs have complainers. Complaining creates excuse-makers. Complaining creates ➖ energy. Complaining creates fixed mindsets and losing programs.
6: Lack of Commitment
Losing programs have a lack of commitment. Players are not bought into the program. They do not put in needed time into the off-season. This becomes contagious.
7: ME > WE
Finally, losing programs have ME First mindsets. Players are worried about their stats. Players are worried about themselves. They are not worried about the team.

🚨 95-Year-Old Veteran Becomes HOMELESS After Nursing Home Room Given To Criminal Illegal Aliens By Biden Democrats
Meet Frank Tammaro of New York.
Frank is a decorated Korean War veteran. Frank signed up to serve his country in 1950. He fought honorably. How have Biden Democrats repaid Frank for his service?
Frank was left HOMELESS to make way for millions of criminal illegal aliens that Biden Democrats welcomed into the country. Frank’s nursing home was converted to a “Migrant Shelter” because of New York’s “Sanctuary City” status.
In Frank’s own words he was “given 2 weeks” to leave his long term nursing home and was made “homeless” by Democrat open border policies.
Frank has been kicked to the street by Biden Democrats for a new population imported into America to give the Democrat Party more power.
A vote for Biden Democrats is a vote to make 95 Year-Old American Heroes Homeless
Remember this evil.

Mediocre players would rather go unnoticed.
Good players want to be praised for their current skills.
Elite players crave honest feedback & coaching to become greater.
