@StrengthDebates An S&C coaches role in the ultimate goal of winning is ensuring athletes are faster stronger & healthy. Winning is the result the whole program performing its role
So that just seems like unnecessary movement between spaces to complete things that are happening at the same time. A division 1 SEC team is not struggling for space, nor should they be concerned about the turf being littered with weights. Ok in a high school weight room I see where you’re coming from. Every state of the art D1 weight room has turf and it can be utilized well. Again, very weird hill to die on
@StrengthDebates No. But I don’t understand where he’s coming from. Just because there’s turf doesn’t mean there’s an absence of weights… it’s simply another tool to work with. Plenty of valuable things to do on the turf. It’s a very odd hill to die on
If loading via DBs doesn’t bug you, I think DB/KB Bulgarians and lunges are the best options
If not nothing is wrong with leg press and simultaneously progressively overloading on lower back isolations to regain strength there - RDLs, low back extensions, cross crawl supermans high rep also awesome. Dead hanging frequently will help you
Not jay cutler lol but my $.02
@0xBassey Journalists at their core are such snakes. So weird to have such a strong desire to expose someone for an addiction they have no matter who it is. I get it’s the market. But seriously how can you trust this guy just looking at him
@xadrani Agree with you about stoicism but getting up earlier has honestly changed my life, its clear humans are meant to rise and set with the sun - 4am a bit too early obviously but 5,5:30 is perfect. Theres a reason kids get up early
Optimization/huberman philosophy is lame but I really don’t understand why everyone decided to take the exact opposite route to contradict it. Alcohol wrecks health & recovery, sleep is deeply important, diet equally so. If you want to achieve anything with your body/mind shit needs to be dialed. Have fun & let go now and then but majority of ur time should be locked in imo
@colejaczko It baffles me how many people say they don’t have time to exercise, play a sport, or do interesting hobbies yet always find time to watch yet another game. How many games do you possibly need in your life that aren’t yours
