Given the high stakes and large human and ecological cost associated with any potential nuclear exchange, it is not something we want our leaders to learn on the job. Giving them tools to learn and think through the problem in a safe env. is critical.

Aside from abject sadness about the needless loss of life, the only thought I’ll share on this #UkraineInvasion is that at some point we need to seriously consider what lessons countries will draw about acquiring and/or voluntarily denuclearizing after watching this catastrophe.
