Ebola is deadly but stopping it from spreading is much easier than with COVID. Do not panic!
1. Ebola is only passed on by contact with body fluids of an infected person- sweat, vomit, blood etc. Not just being in close contact.
2. Ebola is only transmissible when someone has developed symptoms. If someone is infected but has no symptoms they cannot pass it to you.
Therefore all we have to do is be vigilant and avoid anyone who has a fever and other Ebola like symptoms - vomiting, bleeding, diarrhea, headache or other malaria like symptoms.
However as a precaution simply avoid all body contact with other people like shaking hands, hugging and keeping your distance in crowded places, public transport or large gatherings.

Weβve just published the 10th edition ofΒ The Legacy, a small but meaningful milestone at the @MakEndowmentFnd.
In an age of shrinking attention spans, newsletters remain one of the most powerful tools for intentional storytelling. They allow us to go beyond headlines; to capture journeys, context, and impact in a way that quick posts often cannot.
This edition continues that purpose: telling the stories of our alumni and students with depth, authenticity, and pride, while also connecting our community to opportunities such as #Scholarships and #Grants.
Enjoy your read!
To all education practitioners at the secondary school, and our folks at @NCDCUg and @Educ_SportsUg
The Competence Based Curriculum doesn't mean contexts only, content and knowledge are equally important. Short of that, we're a crisis in the waiting
Our latest issue of The Legacy is out!
This Womenβs Month edition celebrates remarkable women breaking barriers; from completing PhDs in record time, to advancing HIV prevention, and creating innovative solutions like sanitary pad dispensers.
Youβll also find inspiring real-life journeys of resilience and reinvention, plus raw personal stories written by our alumni and students themselves.
PS: Don't miss out on the scholarship and grant opportunities too.
Dive in and get inspired!

Pain in the calf muscle (the muscle on the back of the lower leg) can sometimes be caused by a clot.
If you ever get shortness of breath after getting calf pain it could be a clot that has moved to the lungs (pulmonary embolism) which often kills.
Never take calf pain lightly especially if you are sedentary, travel a lot or are immobile due to injury or sickness.
Clots can be treated and death prevented if you seek care in a timely manner.
But, it starts with being able to identify a potential problem.

Dear @Airtel_Ug I sent you a DM regarding an international mobile money transfer query on Saturday 29 November 2025 but I have received no feedback. Please let me know how else to contact you, seeing the customer care numbers are also not helpful. Thank you.
