I've been tinkering with this #GSAP text effect.
Using the amount property in the stagger object allows you to have words of different character lengths animate in the same amount of time.
For instance "most" and "comprehensive" will have the start times of each of their letters distributed evenly over an amount of 0.3 seconds.
tl.from(leftSplit.chars, {
opacity:0,
scale:0.2,
stagger:{
amount:0.25
}
})
.from(rightSplit.chars, {
opacity:0,
scale:0.2,
stagger:{
amount:0.25,
from:"end"
}
}, 0)
Notice how well the effect can update by just adding more #HTML no need to change any other code β
Another seamingly "simple" animation that would be a nightmare with #CSS.
Moving on from anything related to GSAP / front-end.
Thanks to everyone who purchased my courses and helped along the way with likes, reposts and support. Forever grateful π β€οΈ
@iansvo thanks for your thoughts. unfortunately my creativity and desire to work with web/UI is at an all-time low. I imagine some folks will do well on the path you suggested but it's just not for me at the moment.
Worthy of Mention.
Found these scroll-driven section markers to be quite clever. Nice touch having the text pin π on the bottom as the characters animate into their vertical orientation while the page is scrolling.
Enjoy for yourself on desktop / landscape-ish aspect ratio https://t.co/32aYjP1iyu
The irony of finding this the day after my little announcement is not lost on me π
I guess the difference now is that I'm not going to spend any time trying to see if I could build it. Out for a walk πΆ
