Fuji Yama Restaurant, designed by Bermüller + Niemeyer, is a Japanese restaurant, with captivating wooden panels designed with parametric 3D modeling, in Nuremberg, Germany.

The wooden panels are combined with acoustic absorbers. High-performance acoustic baffles made from recycled PET bottles run parallel to the wood, making a significant contribution to the design.

West Kowloon Station, designed by @Aedas is an underground station in Hong Kong. The bold design of the station encourages people to walk on the station’s undulating, planted roof.

It is one of the largest underground stations and was designed with the aim of creating a station that does not feel underground. The project offers a large open space and parkland to the site. The giant floating roof is supported by the giant steel columns in the interior of the main hall. The 4,000 glass-paneled facade offers people the city view from the lower levels of the station. With its unusual yet attractive look, the West Kowloon Station stands as a landmark in the city.

Woven Screen Office, designed by @niwao, is inspired by the traditional Vietnamese perforated terracotta block walls. Unlike traditional screens, this modern version has no tails and heads, demonstrating how the concept was realized, uniting space and people.

The 3-dimensional concrete blocks created the screens to achieve an open yet enclosed, public yet private office space. 3D printers significantly contributed to producing these complicated curved surfaces from concrete. 1 unit of 1:1 scale was divided into 4 pieces for 3D printing, assembly, and use as a molding frame for casting concrete.
