"they need to stick to the book and not make it woke"
I see you've picked up a Gibson novel and are already pretending to have read it.
Welcome to the OG of OG Cyberpunk, choom. Prepare your cortical drive. Your brainpan bout to be turbo-woked.
@InDeepGeek ES6 because at least a new team can come in and start fresh.
GRRM gave the show his ending via bulletpoints, and the audience hated it. He's old, tired, and stuck.
Slim chance Rothfuss gets back to work someday, but depression and game addiction are a killer combo.
Ahsoka and The Acolyte both have much better live action displays of "Masters" at work.
Both are also unfortunately limited by real world constraints like budget and actor fitness / training time, which is why they arent quite up to the Prequel level par.
"Saber forms" that gave meaning to prequel speed / flourishes was literally invented for AotC after intense backlash over all the nonsensical twirling in TPM.
It's also pretty well doc'd that the sequel chroeographers wanted Rey and Kylo to look clumsy and non-Master-y.
Just one day after ending "The Late Show" on CBS, Stephen Colbert returned to TV — to host a public access show with rocker Jack White in Monroe, Michigan.
Appearances by Jeff Daniels, Eminem and Steve Buscemi.
@littlebbyslug Both c-suite and the tech bros all have short term profit in mind, with the expectation that there will be some massive improvement in the technology that makes the sacrifice of long-term workforce stability and skill worthwhile.
Tldr they are morons.
@littlebbyslug The danger C-suite execs risk by giving in to the craze and replacing half their workforce with AI is that the technical skills of their retained employees will now atrophy, and new trainees won't have the skills in the first place. The knowledge base erodes. Innovation dies.
@limeyxlimey@otisframpton@netflix It is genuinely his worst work. I think Dahl knew that too, which is why the third Wonka book went unfinished for 12 years before his passing.
@evenstvr Here's a shot of it. Found in Bylany.
Looks like one of the recent patches may have changed the stats on it though? Which is a shame because it was obviously just a nerdy dev having a bit of a laugh.
@SirSnipeyy It's a balance of great and awful. As a Legendarium reader I do get miffed when they insert some absolute nonsense like mithril=Silmaril or Gandalf=Grand Elf, but just as a fantasy show it's a solid 7/10. S1 has big pacing/acting/dialogue issues, but S2 improves a lot.
