आज विधानपरिषदेचे उपसभापती सचिन अहिर यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली विधानभवनातील त्यांच्या दालनात आयोजित विशेष बैठकीत उपस्थित राहून मुंबईतील महाविद्यालयांमधील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या विविध समस्या आणि त्यांना मिळणाऱ्या सोयी-सुविधांचा सविस्तर आढावा घेतला.

यावेळी विद्यार्थ्यांचे शैक्षणिक हित जपत, त्यांच्या समस्या सोडवण्यासाठी प्राचार्यांनी आठवड्यातून किमान एकदा विद्यार्थ्यांशी थेट संवाद साधावा, अशा सूचना दिल्या. तसेच हिंदुजा, थाडोमल इंजिनीअरिंग, लाला लजपत राय व सस्मिरा टेक्स्टाईल कॉलेजमधील विद्यार्थ्यांच्या प्रश्नांवर सकारात्मक चर्चा झाली.

या महत्त्वपूर्ण आढावा बैठकीस उच्च व तंत्र शिक्षण विभागाचे अपर मुख्य सचिव बी. वेणुगोपाल रेड्डी, उच्च शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. शैलेंद्र देवळाणकर, तंत्र शिक्षण संचालक डॉ. प्रमोद नाईक, तसेच संबंधित महाविद्यालयांचे प्राचार्य आणि वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

राजा जी परदेशातील पाहुण्यांना आदरातिथ्य करण्यात busy होते. जानेवारीत च परदेशी विमान प्रवास व प्रवासी थांबवणं गरजेचं होतं. Lockdown जाहीर करण्याआधी जनतेला सुरक्षित ठिकाणी/ गावी जाण्यासाठी एक आठवडा दिला असता तर सामान्य जणांची तारांबळ आणि राज्य सरकारवरील ताण कमी झाला असता.
