a.doorstep banking for seniors/working professionals
b.strict service timelines
c. penalties for unnecessary repeat visits

Why should other people take leave to do the bank work on weekdays?
Saturday should be strictly working for banks. First of all they should do their duty diligently and then think of 5 days.

That's why, Banks should not be given 5 day work week, 2nd and 4th Saturday is enough, they get a hell a lot of govt holidays already. Privatisation and firing policy is the best way.

6)5-day bank week is fine only if banking becomes truly no-visit-needed. Otherwise private employees will keep taking leave just to get work done.
Upgrade services first and then think of 5 day work week.

5)If 5-day banking is approved, make doorstep cheque pickup + document collection available widely. Many customers repeatedly visit banks for small things.
