Cultivating a unique variety of mushroom—the Split Gill Mushroom (Schizophyllum commune) one of the most loved mushrooms among the Nagas. This mushroom naturally thrives in the wild but our goal is to cultivate them in a clean, controlled setting, ensuring they are safer
Additionally, we provided them with practical laboratory experiences that would benefit them in their future jobs. We always strive to provide young Naga minds with access to lab facilities so that they may gain an understanding of how labs operate.
After a rigorous 15 days of industrial training, this group of MSc students from St. Joseph University @st_joseph_university_nagaland left with enough experience and expertise to grow mushrooms as they assisted a mushroom farm from start to finish in mushroom production.

We are so proud of this young man, in addition to cultivating the mushrooms, he now creates the must-have tool for all aspiring shiitake farmers and will definitely be a cost-effective local purchase for them

Our brand new shiitake sawdust spawn is a success
Here’s a 5-inch-diameter cap of shiitake grown by a Mokokchung farmer using our new premium shiitake sawdust spawn.
Sawdust spawn has faster spawn run, shorter time to harvest and more cost-effective for large-scale growers
