@parrots@lewisMakesApps I thought my drops were related to time/memory too. It usually happened about an hour and a half after startUpdating() kicked in. But then I realized the last locations recorded were in notorious bad cell spots on the highway, about an hour and half from my house each time.
@parrots Strange. Turning on significant location change is the only reliable way I know to restart GPS. Iโve had mixed success with stop/start in he past, but might work. And for preventing it, I know mine is caused by dropped internet/cell signal so I would look into that as a cause.
@parrots That might work, but I suspect your app is being terminated. The only way to wake it up if terminated is to enable the significant change service. Then it will wake when the user moves far enough. Do your logs show if the app is still active after the GPS stops?
@EtonCorporation Iโm trying to connect my Eton Color to Appleโs HomeKit but it wonโt work. Whatโs the HomeKit code? I tried the 6-digit number on the sticker on the back but that doesnโt work.
@simonbs@matthewskiles makes insanely good icons if you think itโs worth the investment. Definitely wouldnโt let the icon stop you from launching. Good luck!
@TimothyCookothy You read the fine print wrong. The โFamilyโ and โIndividualโ Apple Car plans come with a steering wheel. Itโs the Apple Car โVoiceโ plan for $4.99, THATโs Siri Only :)
@jeffemtman@marcoarment Respect this, but I think this is wrong approach to get what you want. @OvercastFM and all the indies need to team up and compete. They need to toss out the people in charge of the extremely stagnant RSS spec and innovate! Imagine if HTML stopped at v2.0.
