It is so easy for social media companies to sway elections because they can control what people see and do not see in their News Feeds. I would personally vote for all social media algorithms to be made transparent to the public (or regulated by a 3rd party).

Instead of using literacy tests to bar individuals who cannot understand a ballot, it may be more constructive to equip our education system to teach people how to identify propaganda.
