Dear President Trump,
I want to express my gratitude for the attention you gave to Colorado during your campaign. As a long-time resident of Denver, I feel compelled to share my concerns about the current condition of our city. I am the voice behind the @DoBetterDNVR Instagram and X accounts, which have jointly garnered over 100,000 followers in the past year and a half, reflecting a growing sense of urgency in our community.

Under progressive leadership in Colorado, we have witnessed a troubling decline in public safety. Colorado is now ranked as the third most dangerous state, a stark reality that has greatly affected residents and businesses.

During the first eighteen months of Mayor Mike Johnston's administration, we have seen rampant corruption and an agenda that does not serve the residents of Denver. Additionally, Governor Jared Polis has continued to advance legislation that protects undocumented immigrants and criminals at the expense of public safety, undermining the quality of life for law-abiding residents. Furthermore, Secretary of State Jena Griswold's actions have raised concerns regarding the integrity of our elections, further eroding public trust in our leadership.

As you establish your priorities, please recognize Colorado (and Denver in particular) as a critical battleground for restoring law and order and ensuring that local and state policies align with federal law. Your administration could play a pivotal role in addressing these pressing issues that affect so many in our community.

And so Rabin, he dies and then Perez is defeated in the election and where the rest of it is history. But you walk away from these once in a lifetime peace opportunities and you can't complain 25 years later when they the doors weren't all still open and all the possibilities weren't still there. You can't do it.”
