@jasonfried It’s a combination of many small things. The suspension is better (which is surprising!), it’s quieter, and the road noise that gets through is lower frequency. The lower weight makes it more pleasant handling.

@jasonfried I have an X and the Juniper Y is better. People want the YL and that will sell better but the Y is hard to improve on.

I’m most hopeful about a van. Station wagons have been under appreciated but vans more so.

Also many people who say “I’ll quit grinding when I have $X” and can’t stop.

It’s good for people to realize early that the number may not carry weight

I remember stumbling onto a couple things that were “wrong” once I learned more S&C that have since been borne out.

Locked push downs was one. Drop sets back in the day.

@thesamparr I had a similar though shorter experience and I think in that 18-24 age range, maybe because your brain isnt quite done developing, it can have a permanent effect at how you look at things.

I don’t know why academics are so contrarian about this. The (non technical) profs preening about how the Internet was a fad were morons.

@raifordpalmer @Ankara_inc Won't disagree about Ramsey but this is a big miss IMO. Guy has well-defined premarital assets that don't require a prenup and won't get comingled, and even if the house is upgraded, it's a $150k house.

His real exposure is... $100k? Tops?

There are still workplaces that don’t hire if you have visible tattoos or non-ear piercings. Not endorsing, but I understand the filter there.
