My journalism background has made me a better digital marketer, without a doubt. I talked about it (and a lot more) on the @CEOBlogNation "I AM CEO" podcast with @Progreshion recently. Here's my recap:

@NeptuneMoon I am:
1) Pretty busy and unlikely to be able to contribute a ton during the chat, sadly ... (but I'll try!)
and
2) Thrilled about this topic, as I have a 90%-written blog post on Google Search Ad campaign audits.
With @TheMasters underway, I have a golf-related quiz: Which "how-to" query is most popular on Google in the US?
How to hit a golf ball
How long does it take to golf 18 holes?
How to clean golf clubs
How to swing a golf club
How to play golf
Reply w/a guess.

@navahf I just went back to look up the notes ... it was three years ago! A key discussion point was "bid to budget theory," a term I had forgotten, but a concept I must have internalized, as I recommend it to clients now.
A7: I was lucky to have a 1-on-1 consulting session with @navahf a few years back and I was really impressed by her knowledge and approach. I have followed her work since and have learned a ton! #ppcchat 1/2
A6: My company name, Squarely Digital, stems from the idea that I can be a bit "square" (ie., old-fashioned), even while working in the modern, digital realm. That's b/c I believe the fundamentals still hold, even as everything else changes. That's a value, right? #ppcchat
