A disturbing case of alleged religious discrimination has surfaced involving Shadab Khan, an air conditioner technician employed by a service company.
According to Shadab, he received a service request from his company to repair an AC at a customer's residence. After reaching the location, he informed the customer of the service visit charges, to which the customer allegedly agreed and asked him to proceed with the repair.

However, after the work was completed, the customer allegedly asked for Shadab's name. Upon learning his identity, the customer is alleged to have threatened to implicate him in a false case and said, "You're a Mulla, aren't you? Get out of here. I didn't call you."

Shadab recorded the incident and later shared the video on his Instagram account.

If these allegations are accurate, targeting or humiliating a person solely because of their religious identity is deeply disturbing and has no place in a society governed by equality and the rule of law. Such allegations deserve a fair and impartial investigation.

A woman in Jharkhand was reportedly paid just 200 for 15 days of work, despite working nearly 8 hours a day - a reality that exposes the harsh and often invisible labour problem faced by daily wage workers across India.

This is not just about one incident. It reflects a deeper systemic issue where labour is undervalued, dignity is ignored, and survival often comes at the cost of fairness. When honest work is rewarded with such injustice, it raises uncomfortable questions about accountability, labour rights, and social responsibility.

In a country where millions depend on daily wages to survive, such incidents highlight the urgent need for stronger enforcement of minimum wage laws, better workplace protection, and awareness about workers' rights.

No one should have to work full days and still struggle for basic dignity. Work is not charity - it isa right that deserves respect, fair pay, and justice.
