You really have to step back and appreciate the massive game that @polkadot is playing here.

While most projects are fueled by financial speculation trying to create essentially the faster, open-source robinhood, DOT is chasing a much bigger vision:

Bringing real web2 users into web3.

Whether TikTok comes or not, the fact that this is being attempted should tell you something.

It's actually possible here on DOT.

Almost every other chain could not handle this kind of load, and Polkadot is attempting to bring many TikTok sized loads on chain.
