@EmileeNealy I have often wondered what kind of care is given to individuals as they serve life sentences. Who ensures their dignity during death? How involved is the family? Institutions should have some sort of responsibility to ensure follow up care is provided.

@CaterCamryn1 So important! CHFS now has policy that allows relatives and fictive kin to be approved as foster parents in order to receive financial support when caring for a child. Some families could not do it without the help.

@kaylabrookeMSW I'm glad we've seen an increase in school based services recently. Many more are needed. School based services would make it easier for youth to receive mental health services - relying little on transportation and the need for adults to arrange appointments.

@victoriabMSW Cost of care is definitely an issue with the clients my agency serves. Medicaid does not always cover the services a client needs. The lack of those resources also make it equally hard for clients to receive what they need to be successful.

@LaurenB17130472 @pattiminter4ky Mental health acceptance and treatment is extremely important. So often those who work in the field who are psychologically affected are expected to just "get over it". Employers should acknowledge the signs of these affects and allow compensation when needed.
