It’s time to ship complete & correct ENS integrations - wallet apps especially.
Users shouldn’t have to think this hard about basic safety. Hex addresses are fugly, and wallet flows & apps that don’t properly support ENS can feel that way too.
Put ENS on the roadmap, then move it closer to the top. Your users deserve it.

the stablecoin chain prize is so large that everybody wants to give it a shot
the winners will be worth trillions
the question is: who will be the winners?
We’re at a tipping point.
1. Stablecoins are seeing record adoption across every market
2. Onchain identity, UX, and wallets are breaking into the mainstream
3. DeFi and cross-border payments are becoming the foundation of the financial system
ETHOnline is your chance to be part of this shift.
Today we're talking about the passage of the GENIUS Act.
The "Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act" — which provides clear rules of the road for stablecoins in the U.S. We cover the law's implications, the recent high-stakes vote in the House of Representatives, and the bipartisan efforts to pass this groundbreaking bill.
We also touch on the CLARITY Act — a major new “market structure” bill that would establish a clear regulatory framework for digital asset markets — which the House also passed with bipartisan support and which is now headed to the Senate.
Here to separate the signal from the noise are members of the a16z crypto team who had a front-row seat to the action. We've got @milesjennings, a16z crypto's General Counsel and Head of Policy, plus a16z Government Affairs Partners @BenNapier and Michael Reed, who are responsible for liaising with House Republicans and House Democrats, respectively. They share the inside scoop.

w/ our host @rhackett 🎙️
The largest bank in the world, @JPMorgan, just filed a trademark application for the name “JPMD."
The filing suggests JPMorgan may be preparing to launch a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin.
The trademark covers services including digital token issuance, electronic transfers of virtual currencies, and clearing and settlement of financial assets.
JPMorgan already operates JPM Coin via its Onyx blockchain platform, used for institutional transfers.
The bank previously explored tokenized deposits and blockchain-based settlement mechanisms.
The timing may reflect JPMorgan’s effort to position itself ahead of upcoming regulations and widen its digital finance infrastructure.
Next week, the Senate will make history when we pass the GENIUS Act that establishes the first ever pro-growth regulatory framework for payment stablecoins. This bill will cement US dollar dominance, protect customers, increase demand for US treasuries, and ensure that innovation in the digital asset space is in the hands of the United States of America, not our adversaries.
Stablecoins are quietly transforming how money moves — faster, cheaper, and more globally than ever before.
In this episode, we take a deep look at why stablecoins have emerged as one of the most promising applications in crypto today — and how they could reshape global payments.
@rhackett is joined by @cdixon, founder and managing partner of a16z crypto, and @SamBroner, a deal partner at a16z crypto who focuses on stablecoins.
Together, they unpack the technical and regulatory foundations of stablecoins, explore the cracks in the current payments system, and look ahead to what becomes possible once digital dollars go mainstream. We also dig into the current state of regulation — and why the future of money might end up looking a lot more like email or the web than a bank.

On the @consensus2025 Summit stage, Joseph Saldana, CFO @wyostable, confirmed the launch of their stable token:
"We're looking to launch $WYST around the July 4 timeframe." 🇺🇸
ENS is becoming an identity layer.
@jefflau, CTO of @ensdomains explained that with @namechain, you can now attach verifiable credentials to your .eth addresses while maintaining privacy—like your GitHub, job history, or age—to your ENS name. Some immediate usecases this enables:
✅ Prove safe.eth links to Safe’s real site
✅ Show you worked somewhere without revealing your email
✅ Gate discords to real humans
Whether it’s improving transaction efficiency, freeing up working capital, or driving U.S. treasury demand, the benefits of a clear regulatory framework for stablecoin are immense.
The Genius Act has gained bipartisan support because it presents common sense rules that protect consumers, promote competition, and foster innovation. It’s time we provide the clarity and stability that our country and its innovators so desperately need.

@edwinaoki, CTO of Digital Currencies at @PayPal, talks about how crypto & stablecoins are ripe to disrupt outdated systems like SWIFT and wire transfers for payments
i've listed blockchain.eth on OpenSea
i don't have the time to development it's potential for blockchain.eth subdomains
i'd rather sell it to someone else to develop blockchain.eth subdomains to help grow the Ethereum ecosystem than to keep it dormant

Today, I’m introducing the GENIUS Act w/ @SenatorTimScott, @SenGillibrand, & @SenLummis, a bill that establishes a clear regulatory framework for stablecoins.
I look forward to working with @RepFrenchHill and @FinancialCmte to get it to the President’s desk and signed into law.
