Lived in Taiwan for 16yrs, worked through SARS. Now in UK, seeing friends in Taiwan with normal lives while the gov't here is destroying our economy & health.
@shattenstone Did this appear in the Saturday print edition of the Guardian, the Sunday Observer or do you know when it will be published in print? Many thanks. Excellent piece - the world can learn so much from Taiwan and Audrey Tang is a key part of that...
@LanesForDrains why do you seem to pick early mornings and really loud machinery or very late nights with bright lights and no consideration for people who live nearby? Why does it take so many visits to do your work? Once for an emergency, fine, but...?
@YouGov your questions are often impossible to answer. In the latest survey, you ask about travel & ask why people travel & then ask for 3 answers... None are reasons I travel for - basically work and seeing family. Do you do this to exclude people?
@BritishGas@SmartEnergyGB@ofgem@BritishGasHelp Isn't part of the point of a smart meter being able to monitor energy usage, compare to before and try and reduce what we are using? Or does that go against your profit motive?
@BritishGas@SmartEnergyGB@ofgem@BritishGasHelp Why was the British Gas software system updated online, but is not yet delivering the data we had in the previous system? Are you really working hard to resolve these issues?
UK IS DYING
UK has seen an increase in avoidable deaths & fall in life expectancy
Link to Govt austerity is particularly clear when comparisons are made with peer nations, the NHS has been under resourced, leading to poorer outcomes
We’re earning less compared with peers too!
The NHS is completely BROKEN
It WASNT broken by COVID/Ukraine/inflation(*delete excuse)
It was broken by deliberate CHOICES
RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, reward its staff & provide better healthcare for UK population, for us all
I smell a rat and we need answers!
Who is she?
Another Johnson 'squeeze', or his daughter.
Certainly, she's done nothing to justify a lifetime peerage.
If Charlotte Owen is a worthy lifetime peer, I’m a baroness https://t.co/o1sxss9IZi
@DrSteveTaylor@AugustaLees It would be interesting if remaining GPs begin to choose to only work in constituencies without Conservative MPs. People might stop voting for them when they have to travel to another constituency (with an MP that isn't trying to kill the NHS) to see a doctor
@alexhallhall @TrialByTruth Maybe they should get paid national average wage in their first year with a pay rise tied to the average of other public servants every year & a bonus when/if they get re-elected, then age wouldn't matter & their reward would be driven by success.
@JuniorRowing@BritishRowing why can't I find an announcement for the GB U23 squad going to Plovdiv, but the entries are up on the @WorldRowing website: https://t.co/ruduB1Fk0n ??
@BBCFactCheck is it true that MP Nadine Dorries has not been to Parliament for work in a year? Is there no control on the 'flexible' working of MPs when they are pushing others to return to working long hours in the office?
Nadine Dorries is still earning a huge salary as an MP but has not sat in Parliament for a year. @CliveBull asks: How can we make sure MP's work for their constituents?

@SeniorNHSconsul @BBCPolitics :( so sad that even people who want to do their best for society (and the economy) are discouraged by the government... And so sad that the public don't realise that NHS healthcare is rapidly going the same way as dentistry - only rich get timely treatment.
