@1nsaneNmembrane We have thought about it. Unfortunately, the biosensor is pH-dependent so I am afraid the acidity of the vesicular lumen will make it unreliable. However, we are currently developing a fluorescence lifetime based biosensor, which is pH-independent that I think would work.
Lina also participated in fruitful collaborations with @joachimgoedhart and @LinTianPhD to develop new fluorescent biosensors and with Ditte Demontis in characterizing the function and pharmacology of genetic variants of the serotonin transporter involved in ADHD.

@ditlevbrodersen In my experience, about 1/3 of DNA clones generously shared by other labs contain errors or is something altoghter different than intended. We always do full plasmid seq. The mess in freezers is pervasive. Addgene deposit of key clones allows easy sharing and good quality control

The Danish policy regarding ERC is a double disaster.
@ditlevbrodersen Well, only congratulations to the recipients. Pyrrhus-victory. The pool of money that the remaining Danish researchers can fight over is reduced by the same amount. So an ERC-euro to Danish research means the same money for research in Danmark and less money for research in EU.
