When did asking basic questions become radical? When did complexity become an excuse instead of a red flag? I've been thinking about this a lot. Didn't know where else to start puting my thought, so found myself writing my first personal blog post in about 10 years.

@cursor_ai I've been working for a few days with Cursor 2 and Composor 1. That model is impressive. Both incredibly fast and also super accurate making complex changes to a big code base. Well done and thank you
I thought you're inital video was great, and you were clear about what you were and weren't doing in your enthusatic responce, also that you were going away. This new model certainkly needs work, but it's also been pretty good. Don't be too hard on yourself. Well done on clarifying.
@theo I think too many people are lost in their idealism and have completely lost track of practicality and common sense. If there weren't already enough of them I think I would start a grumpy old man podcast.
Iโm so shocked to read this, I love your podcast and your deep thinking, but where was the disrespect except to him? I thought you had an over simplified and over optimistic hope for this situation when you interviewed him, but unlike your other interviews failed to appreciate and answer his challenges except to tell him he had to give in, and give up. He was totally setup today, and I canโt believe you are rationalising that what happened today is in anyway ok. The rest of the world watched as the your administration tried to monetise this war, through a horrible media circus and when that wasnโt accepted sold out an ally. Maybe the support had to stop, but not this way.
@lexfridman@dylan522p@natolambert Such a wonderful episode, can't believe I am saying this but I am listening for the second time so as to not miss anything. Found my mind wandering in possiblity the first time around.
@nevernorminal I know right? I have this incredible excitement for everyone at @SpaceX , while at the same time there is a little boy inside me stamping his foot while shouting "but I wanted to push the go button" :-)
