I help businesses & founders fix broken products, scale with AI โก, and drive growth ๐. Built AI fraud detection, scaled P2P to $2.84B. Relentless execution.
๐งต1/ As the former head of the P2P marketplace at Paxful, I've gained unique insights into Bitcoin's role in a cash-centric world. Here's a deep dive into its transformative potential. #Bitcoin#P2P#P2PExchange#FinancialInclusion
@JoshMandell6 Hi Josh, I think Saylor's point is more motivational. But every transaction, buy or sell adds to Bitcoinโs security and liquidity. Adoption needs both.
@tosinolaseinde P2P crypto exchanges offer easier access for retail users in Nigeria. I've seen platforms doing $4m+ daily which traditional exchanges can't really capture. It all adds up.
DMs closed. Something like this should be on all property sites where floor plans exist. Customised based on the country and typical build types/materials used/costs etc. The idea being that any house you see that you like you can get a fairly accurate estimate to replicate it. Also the ability to save this estimate and share it with local builders to bid on would be cool.
@StoneAtwine@eversendapp Yeah, I remember you guys facilitated approx ~2.5% of vol for P2P crypto on-ramps in Uganda back in 2021. Like 7th most popular payment method at the time.
@terencecrawford@dantheboxingman Terrence was super measured and boxing well within himself in the Madrimov fight. I don't think we've seen what Bud is truly capable of yet
Exactly. I often I find myself in black spots and would happily pay $5 dollars month to ensure I have consistent coverage. Especially if there is a dashboard that shows me how often this backup kicks in without me even realising it. Showing how it's boosts connectivity to as close to 100% as possible. In fact, in this type of scenario where percentage connectivity is used - if this service increases overall connectively from 75% to say 99% I'd happily pay way more than five bucks. There are many interesting ways they can demonstrate value and monetise this on a per customer basis.
@asemota I completely agree on the need to dismantle the POS agent โcartelโ. I proposed a solution back in 2021 and recently wrote about it on Medium. The idea is simple, individuals act as โhuman ATMsโ by accepting Bitcoin or stablecoins like USDT from people who need to pay bills or access cash. They then make these cash payments directly on behalf of others - no banks, no POS fees. This decentralised model would not only lower costs but also helps unbanked people shift from cash to digital assets, bypassing the need for CBDCs and putting control back in the hands of communities. https://t.co/btzD3gUfEh
