@shredderAI@hoodminers_rh 0% on buys with only sellers paying is a smart way to get people in. the locked hook matters more though, nobody can change the rules after
@_CryptoNotes_@renaissxyz hashing the whole set before the first pull is the right idea. gacha always had a trust problem, publishing the proof is the fix
@KnightPredict@xomarket@1winToken whales waiting until the last days makes sense when there's no early bonus. the real test is how much of that $20M stays after the token lists
@poesdec all of these were obvious after the fact. in the moment, arbing stables across chains while Binance withdrawals are paused is how people get stuck too
@millo_onchain "nobody with an edge is selling it" should be printed on every trading course ad. the people actually making money are too busy to film tutorials
@KupresTilz16899 the real lesson is Jensen telling his only big customer to find another partner. most founders would have shipped the bad chip to keep the cash
@darkcrypto_off Β£1.2B in sales and he still treated the cheapest product as a punchline. the brand never recovered, Signet had to drop the name entirely
Nik Storonsky started Revolut on two hot desks in a London co-working space in 2014. this year it was valued at $115 billion. he says the survivors had one habit in common.
in the clip below he tells David Senra what happened to everyone else in that room.
140 companies shared the space when he started. within 5 years, he says, only 3 were still alive.
"they all worked on weekends."
10 years in, the count was down to 2 out of 140. for him that's math, plain and simple.
"working on weekends is the must if you want to survive, purely statistically."
Senra asks about him personally. he says he works that way, and so do most of the people who report to him. Revolut, he says, is probably one of the hardest-working companies in Europe.
last year it made about $6 billion in revenue and $2.3 billion in pre-tax profit.
is that the real price of a $115 billion company - or survivor bias with a nice number on it?
