@michael_merrick Sorry, I’m not intending to be combative. I just think it was widely trailed and completely reasonable. I genuinely think that very few pupils will be moved as a result of this. Those who are need to be protected.

Sad to say but I agree. Another example of simply taking complaints at face value. ‘Lots of kids dislike new strict school as opposed to old, chaotic one that was horrible to be in but you could do what you like.’

It’s naive to attack a school when the reliability of the claims can’t be fact checked. This stuff makes heads think, ‘Why bother?’

@SusanDouglas70 Exactly the same from a primary perspective. And our ability to make the right provision for pupils with SEND in mainstream schools is a challenge which, at times, feels impossible.
