@HenryChatfield@liron@a16z@cdixon@reckless Yep I believe that use case is probably valid, but would still like to see the details of how that would work in a compelling way / creates tangible value that doesn’t currently exist. Like you said, probably mostly applicable to super fans and not average consumer.
@liron@a16z@cdixon@reckless Sure there are probably some fans out there who want to participate more closely with artists and have ownership etc. but my guess is most consumers are fine being able to pay a fee and listen to what they want when they want.
@liron@a16z@cdixon@reckless Today I pay $x/month to listen to any song I want on demand. Sure I’m only “renting” the songs, but that doesn’t bother me! It’s still a great low friction consumer experience. How can web3 improve on this for me in a way that is compelling enough to switch?
@benedictevans The "Scorned ex-girlfriend still talking about their ex-boyfriend far away" SF jokes are pretty tired 2+ years into the pandemic. I love living in SF!
@TahoeWeather do you think it’s possible squaw will open headwall and or granite after this storm? They looked pretty dry to me as of Monday. We need the pow chef out there for live updates! 😎@kartersmith2
