In the old days, being pedantic about semantic and symbolic details was a strength for software development. Especially for low level development and UI design. This trait is however more likely to attract people that are particular about such tunings, rather than big picture “let’s get along” with everyone and focus on what’s relevant to the current focus.

It is good. But the future needs to be local. We need to be self-sovereign. We need to be independently AI sovereign and then choose to opt-in to interdependence where it makes sense. I’m not swapping out of Google/Meta/Microsoft and into xAI/Antrhopic/OpenAI. The days of lock-in are over.
