There's got to be a documentary on @netflix about this because you just could not make this up....it's an incredulous story but its not a story, its real life.
This needs to serve as one of those planning quotes "has Astley due diligence been adhered to" so any future monumental fuff ups like this cannot be repeated.
Much support and admiration to those impacted and please do not ever go quiet because that's how these things are allowed to just go away and be forgotten about
@astleyaction
I will not give it a rest. Not for one minute. Because that would be a disgusting abrogation of my duty as a woman who can see what is happening on our streets. I will not play your games nor kowtow to social pressures, because frankly my self image, my career and my public acceptance is not worth an iota compared to fighting to ensure the safety and integrity of girls. I have my priorities right
I will not give it a rest. Not for one moment
Not while we are blighted with constant stories of girls being harassed and assaulted by migrants
Not while we can see the explosion in sex crimes in towns such as Bournemouth and have empirical evidence and crime statistics to back up the direct correlation between sex crimes and mass immigration
Not while we know the horrifying extent of rape gangs targeting young white girls which was able to go totally unchecked due to the deranged cult of supposed anti-racism, when the real racism was the specific targeting of Little White girls by predominantly Pakistani men
I will not give it a rest while we have 'Lover Boy' gang rapes in Belgium, mass sexual assaults in Milan and Cologne on New Years Eve, sex attacks in Germany, Italy, Sweden, The Netherlands, Ireland, at the hands of foreign men who regard the opposite sex (particularly non-Muslims) as worthless objects for their abuse
And these are the stories we know about. So many others are buried because people like you play sordid race games creating a culture of fear among those who would otherwise stand up against what is going on. Who want to blow the whistle. But know the cost of doing what is right is ostracisation, cancellation, loss of livelihood, bullying
I will not give it a rest while multitudes of women, many much younger than me, face discomfort on a daily basis, at the very least, or fear at the worst. Because I don't care about shallow, narcissistic power games. Or image. I care about facts
I have lived and worked and travelled extensively in Ghana, India, China, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco and Pakistan. I have a very diverse friendship group as a result. Proudly so. I am more worldly wise than you could ever imagine
But being well travelled has also shown me first hand how some cultures have very different attitudes towards women. To pretend otherwise is ontological discord
So while you may wish to play your games of trying to demonise anybody who is willing to stand up for the truth, regardless of the collateral damage to countless young, innocent women, I will do the honourable thing and realise that the protection of girls is fundamentally far more important than your synthetic offense. Regardless of the cost to me
If you had a single grain of decency in your body, you would call out rampant misogynistic attitudes prevalent across society, when we know women have vanishingly few rights in much of the Muslim world, and stand up for girls who are not as lucky as you to apparently always feel so safe around men who otherwise exhibit horrifyingly regressive and aggressive attitudes towards women
It is the very act of people like you insinuating that everyone is a racist that has directly led to so many abusers acting with impunity for decades. It has become the protective racket around the disgusting crimes of rapists and paedophiles
Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, raped, groped, dehumanised. Countless more feeling at risk on a daily basis
I am no spring chicken. I am well travelled, street smart, savvy and with a thick skin. If I feel on edge in certain neighbourhoods, I hate to imagine what so many younger women feel
Any woman out there bashing a woman for fighting for the protection of girls is sadistically narcissistic and should be ashamed
Take a long hard look in the mirror, Bushra. Because what everyone else can see, but you can't, is an extremely egotistical woman who puts her own sense of self worth over and above the protection and security of countless innocent girls

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE passed away earlier today, surrounded by her family. https://t.co/2eHdDIK6zJ
@TUIUK It's been nearly 24 hours now. Changed computers, browsers, phones. The DMs your team has sent me says you know about the problem but don't know when it will be fixed. We have a cashback offer from our employer which cannot be used over the phone.
@premierinn what is the point of having direct numbers to your hotels when no one answers the phone there. No email address to contact them, and your amazing app just comes up with a error message when you try to contact them through that. Utterly amazing service.
2023’s Burstwick Cup has arrived and both captains cannot wait to get going!
Are you team 🇪🇺 or 🇺🇸?
Spectators are welcome. If it’s anything like previous years then there will be lots of fun, competition and laughs!
