Salam girls and guys!
We just finished an event on faith, empowerment and equality with speaker from different faiths and countries. I personally feel blessed that faith has been acknowleged as an important tool to empower the equality between men and women.

Despite challenges, women can & do play essential leadership roles in religious communities.
Because their inclusion in interfaith peacebuilding is 🔑 to success, in 🇰🇪 #JISRA trained female religious leaders to be effective advocates for tolerance & peace.
#DayforTolerance
In Indonesia 🇮🇩, @PeaceGenID trained 100+ high school teachers on issues related to #FoRB,intolerance, bullying & sexual violence.
After the training, teachers showed positive changes on approaching children’s rights, social media & religious tolerance.
#DayforTolerance#JISRA
Over the next few years, #JISRA will continue to work towards a world where every day is a #DayforTolerance. Together, we can build bridges across communities & religions everywhere.
What are some ways you think we can increase tolerance, peace and #FoRB4All? Let us know!

It all began with a humble idea to positively transform society. Journeying through the years with the capable and industrious team led by Executive Director Phyllis Muema, the organization is one of the leading and preferred peacebuilding CSO in Kenya. HAPPY 16TH ANNIVERSARY!
Congratulations to @irck_info and its Director Abdirahman Ismail for receiving this honourable award! We are proud to work with you on #FoRB4All and #peacebuilding within #JISRA.
An impressive collaboration this week between Indonesian CSOs in Geneva. They are addressing #HumanRights issues in the run-up to the upcoming Universal Periodic Review (#UPR) of #Indonesia by the UN Human Rights Council in 2022. #JISRA#Presessions41@FranciscansIntl
Religion is well-known as a source of conflict, but one of the discussions at the #Afrikadag focuses on the underappreciated role of religion and religious leaders in bridging conflict. 🗣met @Phyllis_Muema@Jos_Douma@Remco1981
