@TheTomEstes@Newhouse100 What about the part of A5 that says any other constitutional provision notwithstanding, Huckleberry? Are you just gonna keep lying or will you actually try to honestly convince Missourians to sell out their own constitutional protections?
@RareCamellia I’ll keep asking, why not just lower taxes? MO GOP could do it TODAY. Why not just provide tax relief? Why the extra-constitutional scheme? Why suspend the Hancock amendment? If this was about fairness, they could fix it today. Instead we get politics and shameless power grabs.
@MissouriSOS The gall of this man handing over our info to the feds for an illegal database. If Biden asked for this info, Denny would have clutched his red jacket in fear and indignation. But because an 80 year old diaper wearing dipshit has an ‘R’ by his name asked for it, he sold us out
@Carl_Bearden@restore_GI_Bill MOWD’s decision didn’t do anything you claim. It’s clear that A5 contains language that says any other provision of the constitution notwithstanding. Which 100% means lawmakers can bypass ALL constitutional taxpayer protections. Why fabricate lies if A5 is so good?
@NathanScottMO The GOP has run MO unilaterally for decades now. If we aren’t “competing in the American economy” it’s because the GOP can’t govern or manage their way out of a paper bag.
Maybe there is a correlation between shitty governance, stupid policy, and mediocre economic growth? 🤔
@BlondeBomb72@MissouriGOP@Eric_Schmitt I’ve been saying it over and over. MO GOP could lower taxes TODAY with a bill passed by both houses and have the governor sign it by dinner time. Instead they’re pushing a scheme to gut the Hancock Amendment and put all the power of taxation in their hands. Why? 🤔
@MOFarmBureau You’re not asking for a seat at the table. You’re asking for citizen veto power over other citizens.
If you’re gonna lick boots and encourage us to sign away our own freedoms and to give citizens veto power over others, the least you fools could do is not lie about it.
@FreedompplMO So you’re saying that all of MO’s elected reps are the product of mob rule? Giving power to the people is mob rule now? This campaign and its supposed necessity are so incredibly stupid.
@MoTaxReliefNow I will also say this, if I have to charge my clients sales tax, every single one of them will be educated on who is responsible for this new tax: The tax and spend GOP, that’s who.
I might even put on the invoice, “GOP Everything Tax” or “Conservative Asshole Tax” 😂😂
@MoTaxReliefNow “It doesn’t get rid of the Hancock Amendment, it just sends it on an extended vacation and when it returns, it will be totally meaningless.”
With MO GOP legislative supermajority and holding the governor’s office, they could LOWER TAXES TODAY.
Why won’t they just do that?
@DLHoskins The tough-talking caption doesn’t really match the picture, Denny. The caption is stern but the photo makes you like child who just received a cookie.
@RGreggKeller@missouriscout@HafnerMO@MOREALTORS I wish I could see the internal polls that have you all crapping your pants!! Every day it’s a new disingenuous argument thrown at the wall because no one will answer why MO GOP doesn’t just lower taxes today with their supermajority. Why the scheme to gut the Hancock Amendment?
@m9836785@jmetr22b Process is important considering the process is how we try to impart fairness into our system. Also, I contend there is no such thing as “good evidence” or even strong evidence at a Grand Jury presentment. There is just evidence that is not subject to rebuttal or cross-exam.
@TheTomEstes Funny how Tom Estes looks huckleberry hound on fentanyl yet tries to insult people on here. 😂
I will keep saying it because these charlatan douche bags will never address it: MO GOP controls the entire MO government. They could lower taxes TODAY but they won’t do it. 🤔
@RGreggKeller Keep up these posts! They don’t highlight any tax effect. They highlight just how inept the MO GOP is who have run this state unilaterally for twenty plus years. 😂
If our economy is flagging, then you all should be looking in the mirror, not concocting an ill-advised scheme.
@serenitynowhere@ProtectMOBallot@AFPMissouri I’m highlighting the ridiculousness of the pro-amendment 4 rationale that says it will stop big bad scary out of state orgs from meddling in our constitution only to turn around and have an out of state org meddle in our constitution. I don’t think you’re arguing in good faith.
