Before our very own eyes. This is in Yemen and they have been heavily stricken by famine for more than four years now. We cannot turn a blind eye to their sufferings.
@OilWatchers So sad that animals are constantly affected by our actions. We need to rethink what we do as humans so that these animals will no longer be affected. It's time to stop this pollution.
@stopmining1 So sad that the mining industry doesn't care about these ecosystems. So much damage done just for metals. We need to find other solutions. It's time to stop mining.
@endthemelt That's unfortunate. Our earth is already too hot, I can only imagine the disaster that would take place when the temperatures rise that high. For now, lets protect our ice caps and prevent the melting. 👍
@oceancleanupsqd Wow. So unfortunate that our waters aren't the same anymore. We need to use these platforms to show people that the world isn't like filtered pictures, it is truly suffering right now. Hope we can stop marine pollution one day.
Although the weather is changing, we still have many pollinators working in our backyard and local gardens. Get involved by picking up and planting these beautiful plants! (Also, Weed as in Milkweed) :)🐝🦋🦇🌻🌼 #pollinators#bees#butterflies#flowers
5 Small Steps We As People Can Take To Prevent Air Pollution?
1.🚗Reduce the number of trips you take by car
2.🚌🚵♀️Carpool, take the public transit, bike/walk
3.⛔️Dispose of trash properly (Report Illegal Dumping)
4.♻️Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
5.🥤 Conserve water & energy
Some ways you can help stop deforestation:
- plant trees
- print less
- eat less meat and dairy and more vegetables
- spread awarness
- recycle
- don't use firewood to heat up your fireplace
- buy organic products
- use less paper
Deforestation also causes erosion, affecting the general environment. When trees are cut, the topsoil is free to move around, as the tree is not holding the soil in place. Due to this, the soil moves, polluting waterways and potentially causing flooding in the area.
