@Jvnior@Believer_36 This thread is replete with complete inaccuracies.
For one, Matthew referred to Mark as a source, but never copied Mark, let alone “word for word”.
Note how Matthew is significantly longer than Mark (28 v 16 chapters).
@A7MAD_ALSHAREEF@Acts17David@MrAdnanRashid Even worse, Islam which does not seem to have a doctrine of the resurrection, cannot prove Muhammad is still alive in spirt (after being carried to heaven by a Buraq?).
So Islam could teach praying to or at least communicating with a dead person, while also saying it is a sin.
@A7MAD_ALSHAREEF@Acts17David@MrAdnanRashid I think the issue here is that Islam maintains that such communications/blessings are addressed directly to Muhammad himself, which is essentially praying for and TO him.
@smile2jannah@elonmusk Elon is not projecting the problem onto immigrants.
The issue here is that governments would subsidize welfare for massive numbers of immigrant families, as an expense to native adults supporting their families.
@IjazTheTrini@VanEck28880626@MattisRedacted No it is an affirmation of the scriptures in the possession of Christians, because elsewhere the Quran says that the Gospel and Torah are divinely inspired:
(1) Quran 5:68
(2) Quran 10:94
@IjazTheTrini@VanEck28880626@MattisRedacted No it is an affirmation of the scriptures in the possession of Christians, because elsewhere the Quran says that the Gospel and Torah are divinely inspired:

@IjazTheTrini@MattisRedacted@restless_Rev But that’s the problem Ijaz, you have not even justified any of your claims that these Quranic verses refer to a “Gospel” or “Torah” not in the possession of Christians. On the contrary, the plain use of such language refers to these books in the possession of Christians
@IjazTheTrini@MattisRedacted@restless_Rev This argument is incorrect.
These verses specifically direct Christians to abide by the Gospel and Torah which are part of the Bible.
You are unable to prove that these verses are referring to some other “Gospel”, “Torah” or book that Christians were not in possession of
@IjazTheTrini@MattisRedacted These verses (esp Sura 5:68) literally refers to the Gospel and what has been revealed to Christians (I.e the Bible).
So you as a Muslim are somehow twisting the plan and ordinary meaning of your own book!
@Ahraz__@IjazTheTrini@MattisRedacted These verses esp Sura 5:68 specifically tell Christians to observe the Torah/Gospel.
Instead of addressing Mattis’ devastating critique of Islam, you resought to attacking his character.
That’s why Islam is declining and cannot be treated seriously.
@Hammad1330421@heuristic_light@flamy_eyes@Acts17David@MrAdnanRashid Your flow of logic does not follow.
You completely omitted how the son and the Holy Spirit as God originate from the Father, and all three share the same divine essence.
Maybe spend abit more time organizing your thoughts first before slandering Christianity as polytheists?
@flamy_eyes@Acts17David@MrAdnanRashid Why not?
Prayer equates to a spiritual form of communication.
Don’t you think that you are communicating directly with Muhammad here?
@AbuOmerOnX@Acts17David@MrAdnanRashid You’ve completely missed the point.
David is saying that there’s an Islamic doctrine for communicating with, sending blessings to Muhammad (who is dead/no longer on Earth). This is essentially praying to him.
Just as Christians communicate with the holy Theotokos.
