Mobi will use a cloud-native mobile core from startup WG2 - hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud - to launch a nationwide MVNO service on T-Mobile's network. And it's building a CBRS network too. https://t.co/f5Ozhe40Zj
@COMMONSpod@peternowak@VassB@KeldonB Vass' insight that competition review is "a high barrier to entry for Canadians to participate" is spot on. The "facilities-based telecom competition regime" in the Act was concieved by monopolies to create a high barrier to entry for competitors post deregulation. No coincidence
Will our government side with Canadians and block the merger or will the government side with 2nd generation billionaires that are cashing in on the backs of Canadians?

@nationalpost Doug Ford's top-secret mandate letter for Ontario's Ministry of Health accidentally revealed by National Post:
"Make Ontarians wait a long time for public healthcare so that they are ready to embrace private care."
"The truth is now on the record, thanks to Rogers, Shaw and Vidéotron: facilities-based competition is a recipe for monopoly."

@vaniok@Bryson_M@North_Resists@BenKlass@peternowak@TorontoStar It's called wholesale access not free access. There would be an agreed exchange of money for services so I would assume the infrastructure would actually get used fully and maybe they'd have to keep building more!
@geraldcombs @showipintbri @TracketPacer I think cellular RF is part of that action too. Perhaps not blinding but it is a safety concern if you're too close to the transmitter ;)
@RitaTrichur And trying to dial the number is just as bad, if it's not jammed at the city's PBX you can bet that all circuits are jammed at your phone provider!
How can I, or content creators in general improve accessibility.. what do we need to do better ? comment on this LinkedIn thread https://t.co/1C9OMGP5XK and it would help a lot if you could like and share it on LinkedIn.
Please retweet this tweet - spread the word.
@FP_Champagne Imagine how much higher that would be if we provided post secondary school for free to anyone who was interested (and not just a loan, I mean free)
@BenKlass That sounds about right! How easy is it to find the plan and convince the sales person to let you have it?
I would assume since its a government mandate for the operators to offer low cost plans, that it should be public knowledge how much uptake they have
