NYC has a hidden 5 story playground for artists in Tribeca.
It’s called LUME Studios and it’s one of the most unique spots in the city:
- 360° projection mapping across 40+ projectors & screens
– A 4th floor kitchen where they host Michelin chefs for 35 person dinners
- Yoga and sound bath experiences
- The same room Fabolous, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, and Burna Boy have all played in
-Panel discussions, poker nights, Salon parties featuring extraordinary people
- immersive art making parties with live music using real instruments!
It’s part studio, part venue, part canvas. They’ve hosted 1,700 events here in the last 10 years.
NEW SITE IS UP!
Tribeca Arts District (link below👇🏼)
The first Tribeca Arts directory site for you to plan your visit to all the galleries and spaces in our neighborhood. Includes stories and history as well as updated events.
Ive been here since 1989 and seen this area change from textile merchants to tourist shops to the beautiful gallery district it is today. Excited to put this all together.

Before @keigowda and I embark on our
adventures to Chicago and Europe, we’d
like to share our video recap of Glimpses of
Eternity at the Subjective Art Fair in New
York. 🗽
The fair was a massive success and it was
the first step in a long term vision to uplift
the digital art movement worldwide.
New York is the capital of this
contemporary movement and it is inspiring
to have amazing and supportive partners
like The Canal St Show, Lume Studios and
other incredible organizations, artists and
collectors who are actively fighting to
champion this movement. 🏆
We’re closing this chapter in NYC, but we
will be back soon. In the meantime, let’s
share this movement with the world. 🌍

A month ago I said goodbye to NYC by sharing my first live immersive art performance of MAREA at @lumestudios_ as part of the @subjectiveNYC art festival.
This was the culmination of my two and a half years living in the city I grew to love so deeply. Having my daughter spontaneously join me to guide everyone through a meditation was a core memory.
Hands down one of the most special days of my life.
My next dream is to be able to present this project in other conferences like @NFCsummit and offer up this space of relaxation and presence around the world.
Thanks @__chamaquito and his brother for the footage and to every person who came and sat with me.
I love and miss you all.
Now that I've had some time to reflect, i'd like to recap the magic that we created with SUBJECTIVE Art Festival. @subjectiveNYC and how it all came together....
I had this idea to produce our own art festival back in May after an extraordinary NFTNYC 2024. I realized that there is no art fair for digital arts in the Fall in NYC and I wanted to carve out a space for us and lead the way. The original idea was to create opportunities for artists, curators, and collectors to sell their work, tell interesting stories, and connect.
Very few people have the opportunity to activate an entire 6 floor building in the TriBeCa Arts district like us and I wanted to push through to make this happen.
The challenge for us was that we only had 4 months, a very small team, and market sentiment for digital arts was at its lowest, so it was really hard to convince people to sponsor or be apart of the event. We got turned down by a lot of people. But there were very few who believed in the vision and supported us. This really wouldn't have been possible without those few people who put their time and energy to manifest this idea into reality.
I lost a lot of sleep during those 4 months of planning. I was scared of failing and didnt know how we were going to make it all happen in such a short amount of time and with such a low budget. I was also juggling a lot while trying to keep @lumestudios_ afloat and handle day to day clients who help us keep the lights on.
Overall i think the festival went really well and the feedback we got from everyone was very positive. There were a few things I wish we could have done better including adding in more panel discussions, and find new ways to create engagement with the art itself. We really aimed for the moon but realized as we got closer that some ideas just had to be cut because we didnt have the budget to do it. But this was version 1.0 and we can always take it to another level in the next one.
I'm so grateful to have met @flexasaurusrex who connected us with so many partners like @whitewallsapp and Victoria West with @TezosCommons
Grateful for @DavidFeinsteinn and @TransientLabs who were so open and ready to experiment with this new idea of @bogus_club. Also to @Sinbadilmarino and @30CamposEliseos who has also been a powerful voice in our community.
Gratitude to @PepeEternal & @EfdotStudio who have really supported and inspired us for many years now to host these digital art events and foster the community through their Canal st show.
I'm grateful for @clay_devlin who has help steer the ship towards where we are today. Always appreciate your ideas and love learning and growing with you. Theres been a lot of ups and downs along the way but we have achieved so much in the last 2 years.
Of course thank you to everyone who took part and put time and energy to do this. Thank you to all the artists and curators who said yes to making this happen. This really is a labor of love for us and we see the vision and we are working to build our future. As artists we are stronger in numbers and that is the basis of why we are doing this. To create and manifest this new global paradigm for artists.
