कुछ प्राइवेट बैंक और माइक्रो-फाइनेंस संस्थाएँ “महिला लोन” के नाम पर गरीब महिलाओं को कर्ज देती हैं, जबकि उन्हें पहले से पता होता है कि इन महिलाओं की आय बहुत सीमित है। हफ्ते के हिसाब से 500, 800 या 1200 रुपये की किस्त तय कर दी जाती है।
शुरुआत के एक-दो हफ्ते तो महिलाएँ किसी तरह किस्त निकाल लेती हैं, लेकिन तीसरे हफ्ते से हालात बिगड़ने लगते हैं। रोज़मर्रा के खर्च, बच्चों की पढ़ाई और इलाज के बीच हर हफ्ते इतनी रकम चुकाना उनके लिए लगभग असंभव हो जाता है।
इसके बाद बैंक के 1-2 रिकवरी एजेंट, अच्छे कपड़े पहनकर, इनके घर पहुँचते हैं और बदतमीजी व दबाव बनाना शुरू कर देते हैं। कई बार तो शाम 7 बजे के बाद भी आ जाते हैं। जानकारी और कानूनी समझ के अभाव में ये गरीब महिलाएँ जवाब नहीं दे पातीं और रिकव��ी एजेंट उन पर हावी हो जाते हैं।
यह स्थिति न सिर्फ अमानवीय है, बल्कि महिलाओं की गरिमा और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर भी गहरा असर डालती है। जरूरत इस बात की है कि ऐसे लोकलुभावन लोन स्कीमों पर सख्त निगरानी और नियंत्रण हो, ताकि गरीब महिलाओं को कर्ज के नाम पर शोषण का शिकार न बनाया जाए।

A serious question for @RBLBank and @RBI.

Can a bank's authorised collection agency contact a customer's senior officer and workplace colleagues, allegedly disclose confidential financial details, and use intimidating communication?

I have raised this matter with RBL Bank's Principal Nodal Officer, but I am still seeking an effective resolution.

I request a fair inquiry into the conduct of ONS Solutions and the agents involved, along with a written response on the action taken.

Customer privacy and dignity must be respected during loan recovery.

I request @RBI , @DelhiPolice @CMODelhi @gupta_rekha to look into the misconduct of ONS Solutions, RBL BANK's authorised collection agency,(Kailash Park, Moti Nagar, New Delhi – 110015.) agency's agents, who allegedly used a false identity to repeatedly call my senior officer’s office, disclose my financial details in an intimidating tone, and harass several of my duty colleagues. Despite repeated complaints to RBL Bank’s PNO, no effective action has been taken against ONS Solutions or its agents. I request a fair inquiry and appropriate action. I have all the supporting evidence available and can provide it to the concerned authorities upon demand.

रिकवरी के नाम पर ऑफिस में ईमेल/कॉल करना = प्राइवेसी का सीधा उल्लंघन।
डेटा कहाँ से लिया जा रहा है? सहमति कहाँ है?

RBI और डेटा प्रोटेक्शन कानून दोनों को सख्ती से लागू करना होगा।

मिडिल क्लास और लोअर क्लास के लोग क्रेडिट कार्ड के कर्ज और Payday Loans से दूर रहें। अपनी इनकम बढ़ाएँ, बचत करें और सही फाइनेंशियल प्लानिंग करें।
क्योंकि आप अमिताभ बच्चन नहीं, जिनकी मदद के लिए अंबानी परिवार आगे आएगा; न राजपाल यादव, ���िनके लिए सोशल मीडिया पर मदद की बाढ़ आ जाएगी��� न आप बड़े उद्योगपति हैं, जिनके कर्ज सेटल कराने के लिए बड़ी-बड़ी हस्तियाँ मध्यस्थता करेंगी।
आम आदमी कर्ज के जाल में फँस जाए, तो उसे खुद ही लड़ना पड़ता है। इसलिए कर्ज लेने से पहले सौ बार सोचें।
