The Somalia Red Crescent Society (#BishaCas), through the Disaster Relief Emergency Fund (#DREF), has provided emergency assistance to 1,000 conflict-affected households in the #Bari region. The support package includes both cash assistance and essential non-food items.
Due to ongoing armed conflict and persistent drought conditions, displaced families have sought refuge across several villages including Xabley, Ufayn Sare, Moqerjeerin, Kobdhexaad, Canjeel, Xarago, Baladhidin, and Geesaqabad. SRCS has mobilized immediate support measures to address this humanitarian situation.
